So officially yesterday I had my week 4 weigh in and began my 5th week
!! (full weeks on program) I was very happy to be down another 2.4 pounds of FAT (total loss in 4 full weeks 14.8 pounds)!!!! Yes I know it's fat as I am following the plan of low carb eating and healthy eating to protect my muscle and ensure that all of it going is only fat! A couple weeks ago I started to ramp up he activity, last week my body really held on tight, i lost only 1.8 pounds.. silly me, i really felt let down! I had a chat with one of my new friends on the team "Gente Bella" plan with me and she had a similar experience last week and was feeling bad too. Why is it we let those number define us so much? Why is it when we work so hard and eat right and turn away all those temptations the minute we step on that damn scale those are the seconds that define our success? Well today I am hopeful to give everyone things to think upon the next time you step on the scale and the results are not reflective of what you were hoping for... ask yourself this....
1. Did I do my best this past week?
2. Was I true to myself?
3. Did I overcome obstacles that would typically trip me up?
Well if you are answering yes to those questions reach your right hand out in front of you lift it high in the air and give yourself a big pat on the back and move forward. If you ask yourself those questions and answer no, oh well we all have those weeks, but I suggest you still pat yourself on the back for taking the time to ask yourself and be truthful to yourself, that is a big deal!
