As most of you who are reading this know from past blog posts that I was chosen for a weight loss program that was in the beginning phases at Gente Bella in Chilliwack. Well 2 weeks ago I had an amazing opportunity come to me. I had a meeting with Lesley, whom is the owner of the very generous business that gave me the opportunity to participate in their new wellness centre weight loss program, and was asked if I would like a position at the wellness centre! I have to say it was the second most amazing thing I have heard in the past weeks, the first being that I was chosen for 6 weeks of the wellness centre weight loss program! I have a background in marketing/advertising and also have had a few years as a weight loss program leader years ago so I understood the reasoning, but really I was shocked! After chatting about the goals moving forward I had to say YES!
So update on how things have been going. As a person who is in week 5 of this amazing program, I now get to spend my day in a positive, happy, inspiring place, Gente Bella Wellness. I went through training last week and have already been hands on and loving working with all of our clients ( really they are like family) in their goals. On a personal level I started my week 6 program and after 5 short weeks I have lost 18.2 pounds of FAT to date. I know I have a long way to go but I know being in this great environment all day I am going to get there! I was chatting with Sherry, a co-worker now, and told her that I felt this journey lead me to this place, we both teared up and knew it was true.
So I am now a wellness coach at Gente Bella Wellness. Enjoying the healthy and positive goals I get to share each day with our pro-energy family. We laugh, chat and share our struggles... can this really be my job?? Well I know that things happen for a reason and I know that moving forward not only will I be changing but I now get to share the joy of others transformations, really.... it doesn't get any better that that!
